Overhaul Engineer

My client an Irish Energy Company have a 12 month contract role coming up for an experienced overhaul engineer.

Working in partnership with the rest of their project team, and supporting the overhaul project manager with the safe and efficient delivery of the centreline overhaul works. Ensuring that the OEM carry’s out their works safely, efficiently and in accordance with the agreed defined processes and procedures. This position requires the applicant to be mobilised on site and support the nightshift phase of these works.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the overhaul project manager with the safe and efficient delivery of the centreline overhaul programme.

•

Ensuring the quality of the centreline works are carried out in accordance with the agreed protocols.

•

Supervising the centreline works and ensuring works are completed in accordance to the defined procedures. Identifying any issues and supporting the resolution of the same.

•

Reporting and documenting progress and feeding back to the project team and project manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have: -

•

Excellent communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team, contractors and key stakeholders.

•

Experience of GT 26 and GE (Legacy Alstom) ST Overhauls
