My client, an Energy Asset company, has a role for a Junior Energy analyst. Working within the company's Renewable R&D team, the role encompasses the following :

Day-to-day, here’s what your new role would look like:

• Assist in the technical analysis and administration of the energy efficiency obligation. • Review and develop auditing and verification processes for energy efficiency projects. • Assist in the submission of projects to SEAI on a monthly basis. • Develop relationships with consultants, ensuring products delivered to customers are of a high standard. • Support the collection and reporting of ESG data. • Assist Key Account Managers to deliver energy efficiency advice to customers. • Assist in the research of new energy-efficient products and concepts. • Determine how products can be rolled out to customers, both commercial and residential.

About you What you’ll need: • Hold a relevant degree / qualification. • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite. • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to put our internal and external customers first. • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

These help decide between those who meet all the above criteria: • Basic understanding of the Energy Markets in terms of ROI. • Robust understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in buildings. • Capable of demonstrating initiative and adaptability to change. • Be able to work independently and as part of a team. • Data gathering and analysis experience.
